Laser & Electronics Middle East LLC provides a complete LED Lighting solution, from conducting internal energy audits, to evaluating maintenance costs and meeting the clients aesthetic requirements in achieving the right lighting ambience.

Over the past 12-14 months the company has completed a number of Retrofit lighting projects including Hotels, Commercial Property, Retail outlets and private residential villas.

Job Description

Our LED lighting division requires a Lighting Design Engineer to produce quality lighting layouts and schemes for public buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, retail, offices and residential properties. Starting from a bare room/ space specification, the successful candidate will interpret, specify and design 2D layouts using AutoCad, Lighting design software tools, lighting levels calculations and their own skills and flair for lighting design.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years design experience in lighting layouts
• Solid experience of AutoCad, Relux/ Dialux and other Lighting layout software
• Experience with LEED certified projects and LED lighting
• Experience in the Middle East for 2 years

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design
• Capable of working independently and under pressure
• Good Interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills 
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Good Computer skills in (MS WORD, PDF, EXCEL)
• Frequent Travel in the Middle East & East Africa
• 2 Years Valid UAE Driving License
